Dentico patient Veronique Swartz says she’s been inspired to pursue her career goals thanks to Dr Nichole Hendricks’ story as a young business owner.
Eerste River local Veronique Swartz was motivated to get her dental treatments at Dentico after hearing about her impressive track record by friends and family.
After two visits at the surgery in Stratford Avenue, during which she received a cleaning, an extraction and filling, she was very happy with her treatments.
“I’ve been visiting the dentist for more than 15 years, but this was the first time I really felt comfortable. Dr Hendricks was so warm and welcoming, it was as if I knew her for years,” says Veronique.
“Her communication played a big role in helping me ease through the experience. I guess it’s human to fear the dentist, especially when you’re in chair and under that bright light, but both treatments went smoothly.
“In addition to the great experience, her prices are very affordable whether you’re on medical aid or paying cash. I’ve already recommended her to my brother and mother, who will be visiting Dentico very soon.”
Veronique is currently a creditor’s clerk at a real estate company in Cape Town. After learning about Dr Hendricks’ journey from student to business owner, the patient has been motivated to strive for more when it comes to her career.
“I was very surprised to learn that Dr Hendricks is the same age as me – we’re both 25 years old! It just proves that age is nothing but a number and you can achieve anything if you put in the hard work” she explained.
“I’ve decided to continue my studies in Human Resource Management and go for goals. It’s great that there are young people like Dr Hendricks who is setting an example in our community. She’s managed to inspire me to aim for more in life and I believe many more will do the same as Dentico continues to grow.”
