Kuils River entrepreneur Nicky Adams says Dentico’s expert and friendly approach saved her from years of dental frustration.
Nicky, who is co-owner of popular beauty and hair salon Amphora Beauty, says she turned to Dentico after disappointing experiences at other dentists in recent years.
Ironically, Dr Hendricks is her client at Amphora Beauty, which saw them speaking about her dental needs.
Nicky then decided to make an appointment at the surgery based in Lang Street, Kuils River.
“I was able to open up to Dr Hendricks about my frustrations, and what really stood out for me was the fact that she listened and explained everything in great detail. She is a really good communicator and that makes a big difference in the chair, which can be a very intimidating place for a patient,” explained Nicky.
“You don’t often get dentists who show compassion and emotion. They can come across as very cold at times, but Dr Hendricks does really well to build a connection and relationship with you.
“And I found those positive qualities from my very first step into the door. Her staff was very friendly, which made me feel very comfortable. I felt at home at Dentico.”

This prompted Nicky to make a positive Facebooks status about her experience, which was well received by the local community.

“I am not saying all these wonderful things because I know Dr Hendricks or the fact that she is my client at Amphora. I give credit where credit is due,” said Nicky.
“I’ve had four years of disappointing experiences, so it was very refreshing to get a positive experience at the very first appointment at Dentico. I hope many other people will experience the same.”
Dentico celebrates its sixth birthday in March 2022. Nicky added that she wishes the surgery many more happy years.
“I can understand why Dentico has grown really well over the years. They focus a lot on great service delivery and making sure their patients are happy,” said Nicky.
“That’s what most business owners forget. It’s not just about the service or product. You must make sure the people you are serving are happy. Clients or patients might forget about how they received something, but they will never forget how they felt receiving it.
“And that’s what makes Dentico special.”
