Dentico’s Dr Hendricks says her team has been positively overwhelmed by the amount of visits they have received since reopening in January.

Dentico enjoyed a well-deserved festive break from 22 December until 8 January following a very successful and busy 2018. However, no momentum has been lost as the surgery has been inundated with patient visits during the opening weeks.
Dr Hendricks says Dentico is doing its best to accommodate the heavy demand.
“This past week has been one of our busiest… EVER! We were preparing for a relaxed start to the year, but so many patients have been coming through our doors,” said Dr Hendricks.
“We’re doing our best to accommodate everyone – even adding a few extra hours in the afternoon. It’s definitely been a great start to the year.”
Dentico services and cash prices (listed at the end of this article) have remained the same since closing. The surgery is also registered with most medical aids, but patients are advised to check this and quote prices before their visit.
“We are registered with a large network of medical aids, which includes all the major ones and even some of the smaller companies,” said Dr Hendricks. “We’d like to notify all patients that cash prices are different to medical aid prices.
“We do not regulate the medical aid prices – they are determined by the medical aid you belong to. We’d advise that you check what your medical aid covers and charges before your visit.”
While Dentico has enjoyed a flying start to 2018, Dr Hendricks has big goals for the rest of the year.
“Our aim is to continuously improve the quality of service and the amount of service offerings we provide to our patients. We’ve already grown so much in one year and we are excited to continue this success in 2018,” she said.
