The Dentico Charity Drive is set have a greater positive impact on our communities as there are six initiatives planned for this year, starting in February 2020.
The Dentico Charity Drive, founded by Dr Nichole Hendricks, made a difference in hundreds of lives last year.
It brought the Dentico family of staff, patient and friends together to contribute to those in need by donating clothing, food, toiletries and other necessities.
This has inspired Dentico to do more in 2020, as Dr Hendricks explains.
“It was really heart-warming to see how the Dentico Charity Drive has grown in such a short space of time,” said Dr Hendricks.
“What made me sad, though, was realising that there was so much more to be done. Just a few days after our last charity drive, I would still notice so many more people who need assistance.
“The initial plan was to run a Dentico Charity campaign once a quarter, but we will now run an initiative every second month. This will not only ensure that we can make a bigger impact in our communities, but hopefully it will inspire our people to do more for those who need our help.”
The first Dentico Charity Drive initiative will start in February, which will focus on the youth at St Joseph’s Home for Chronically ill Children
Dentico will collect toiletries (including baby diapers, and formula), solid foods and clothing for the children aged between 0 and 18 years.
“I am excited to work with St Josephs as they are doing amazing work for children who facing many problems. The world is already a tough place to live in, so hopefully these contributions will add some positivity to the lives of the youth at the home. I hope all our patients, family and friends can make a big difference.”
